Someone on ebay is having a Pre-sale for the 2015 March of Dimes commem. I like the reverse.

I think it is a decent looking commemorative overall.

More info on the coins can be found here: http://www.usmint.gov/mint_programs...MarchofDimesI think the designs are well done and should make for an attractive silver dollar. Of course, I'll be buying! I'm interested to see what type of MoD "Special Set" the Mint will be releasing later this year. Options under consideration include a two-coin set with the SD and a 2015-W proof silver dime and a three-coin set that would include the SD along with a proof and a reverse proof silver dime. An informative booklet is also supposed to be included. I'm looking forward to the set and am hoping for the three-coin version!

Hopefully the set/sets will include an unc dollar with the dimes, not just proof dollars. Regardless, I'm really looking forward to this one also.

Preliminary details on the March of Dimes collector set have been released - the Mint did decide to go with the three-piece set that includes silver dimes in standard proof and reverse proof. It should be a popular set considering the number of US dime collectors out there and the number of dime "firsts" that will be part of the set. More details can be found here: http://www.coinweek.com/coins/news/...t-video-235/

For reference, charles posted his video in another thread... https://goccf.com/t/197640(The topic was not moved here since this set straddles the modern and commemorative forums.) As I said in the other thread, the video has me sold on the set. It is going to be a busy year for me.

I think it's a good thing that the Mint has gone to 500,000 mintage limits for the recent $1 commems. It makes it a true collector coin rather than a speculative investor product.
Buy the coin if you like the design and not because it will be a good resale....

I will have to buy this because of the reverse proof.

I wish they would have done something with the dime also, like a one year commemorative of the march of dimes. That would have been cool.

I like the idea. The only problem is that its size would likely prevent a decent and meaningful design.

The 10-cent coin is one of only two 20th century (or later) denominations used for circulating coinage that has not featured a specifically commemorative design - circulating or NCLT. (The other is the gold double eagle [$20].)
The March of Dimes program would have been a natural fit for adding the dime to the commemorative denomination list! Oh, well!
