Can anyone give me some accurate "coin value" sites, its hard to shop when you don't have the right price to pay. Thanks

There are no accurate value websites, because there are no accurate values of coins. A coin is only worth what someone else will pay for it. Some people way over pay for a coin because they really want it for their collection. Does that make it worth $50 over what anybody else is willing to pay for. I have gotten a $100 coin for $20 at auction because people didn't realize the variety that it was. Does that make it worth only $20 or the $100 I should have paid for it.

Look at RedBook, Greysheet , Numismedia and ebay, current and completed auctions to zero in on a price that people are paying for the same coin. There is no one website.

Red Book values are always high. Look here and ebay sold values http://www.numismedia.com/fmv/fmv.shtml

Keep in mind most prices quoted are retail pricing. The coppercoins prices are a little low to me so I may add a percentage extra for some coin and sometimes lower depending on how the coins look. I would pay less for a VLDS coin and go a little/lot higher for a EDS coin. I figure someday the idea will click on and every one will be looking for the better die states and later die states will be less desired. So each has to figure what a coin is worth to them and set a limit and go for it or forget about it. Denco7 has the right idea.
