What numbering system are you thinking?
The coin looks normal sized devices from what I can see. I see no evidence of hub doubling.

Coppercoins, Wexler, CONECA, Crawford. Each has their own listing for doubled dies and the number usually don't match the same die numbers.

Well honestly I'mnot sure on this one... I see serifs but, coppercoins only has 2 tha have serifs similar on other parts of the "7". So it would have to be a new listing for them? I havnt checked Coneca all. And wexlers I didnt check that one either. I will do that now. But really if your saying those aren't serifs than I will believe you. But that is the best lookalikes I have ever come accross. L

While there appear to be notching on your coin, they are not in the same direction like you would expect on hub doubling. So I feel you are looking too hard at this coin. It is a nice die state coin, MDS, but not the collectable one you wish. You can save it, or put it back into the tube. But when you do find a doubled die, it will leap out at you and you won't even have to ask. You will know it is a doubled die without question. Your eye is already trained for them, that one is just one. You might check out coppercoins for the doubled die obverses for that year. They look much different than what you expect for that year. You may have passed up some and not realized it is a doubled die. http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mdshttp://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mdsBecause of the large/small date issue, this year has some different doubled dies. AddedI just got what you meant by your title. You mean a second coin for that year. The "unc" between the date/mm and that term, then the #2 threw me off. I instantly though you meant die number. Probably coin #2 would have been better in your title?

L Oh sorry, I will use that title next time. I'm sure I will have more, of the 70 s's to post. I bought 3 tubes of them. So not a double then. I thought for sure this was a good one. It resembles the other doubles on Coppercoins, but the nothings are in different spots. They sure looked good. Thanks for your help Coop.

Even the back of the "s" in trust looked good. My phone died on me so I didn't get to view the rest of the coin.

With parts of the date and part of the mint mark affected in the same way, then it is machine damaged in the slightest degree. A give away that it is not hub doubling.
