Hello! I picked up this SBA dollar the other week. I noticed it was wide rim, so id like a grade and value please! Also, should I send it to a TPG? Thanks!

Probably not a coin to have graded. Here is a price list for this:

Unless it is a MS-66, it would not be worth the price for grading. If it came from circulation, then it would probably not worth the expense. I know I won't pay extra for a graded coin. I still look at the coin to see if it matches my grade. (Buy the coin and not the plastic.) Still a very collectable piece. Just not worth grading. IMOHO

Alright, thanks! I got this peice from my pawn shop, the lady was selling all 1979 P wide rims for $2 and I guess she didnt know the value!
