Some things to consider, not sure how much the 1948 Canadian circulated.
I have to wonder if it could be like some Morgan dollars, that set in
mint sealed bags for many years, before collectors got to them.
On the 96 Olympic coins (there are four 95 coins that are right behind these)
I speculate there were many that were bought by Olympic collectors from all
over the world. They were sold at booths, as sets and single coins at the Atlanta Olympics. It could only be a guess how many are scattered all over the world.
I know if I hit the lotto tonight, these are some of the coins I would
be buying as many coins I could find.
I think it would be an interesting challenge to see how many of the 14,497
coins you could accumulate in one collection.
