Would this coin be worth anything in this shape?

I see everyone wants in in RD condition....but this doesn't even fall into the BN condition....it has seen better days!

1877s are desirable in any grade. As long as you can read the date it may be worth a few hundred to someone that just has to fill that hole. This is the only Indian that I'm missing but I've resigned myself to wait until I have the money to purchase at least a G-4.

I agree. Even one graded AG could bring $300-$400.

I see worse posted on the local LCS bid board. They are gone after the bidding cycle. In my experience there are many who buy in this condition.
Rest in Peace

I wouldn't mind owning this one. though I'm not an P-2 or AG-3 kind of guy.

Considering only 800k or so were made and most of those have probably been lost to the ravages of time, there aren't many people that can actually complete a set. This is desirable in any grade.

I'm not in that RD camp, I prefer a nice chocolate brown. That coin would sell in a heartbeat. At the very least, a few hundred bucks.

This coin is not Mint State so RD, RB, or BN do not apply.

Hard to tell from the photos but I'd think at least G details.
$300-400 coin if genuine.
