As far as price I'd be willing to pay $60 to $75 for this coin.

What would you sell it for..as R.1 15/10?

The highest I could see this coin going for is maybe $120. If I could pick it up for a decent price I might sell it for $100.

Not for a coin with such heavy porosity. As SsuperDdave stated earlier we EAC members have sort of a cartel when it comes to buying and selling copper. Still, I don't really see this coin selling on ebay for more than $120.
The only thing that matters though is whether you are satisfied with the coin and with the purchase. I can pontificate about it's condition or it's relative worth but in the end as long as you're happy that's all that matters.

I claim zero expertise on the topic ... early American copper is not an area of numismatics that I have studied.

Do indeed appreciate and recognize the knowledgeable input for the CCF experts ... always here to support such questions.

You folks are the best.

What does 15/10 mean when you attribute this coin?

The better photos change the grade I'm willing to give the coin. By saying it was 15/10 I was saying that it had F-15 sharpness net graded down to VG-10 because of the porosity. With the new photos I see that the sharpness is better VF-20, and the porosity not as bad as it looked in the original photos. Now I'm willing to say 20/15, meaning VF-20 sharpness net graded down to F-15 because of the porosity.
Bear in mind too that these are EAC grades. Market grading by the TPGs tends to be higher. Basically what I'm saying is that I would be willing to pay F-15 money for this coin. Higher than my original $60 to $75 estimate, more in the range of $150. In hand I'm sure it looks even better.
I mean no offense grading copper coins low that's just how copper jerks like myself grade copper. We also take things like porosity and surface finish into consideration. Net grading is just a way we use to get around common copper issues like porosity or rim bumps.
The TPGs would just say VF details and be done with it.
My new attribution seeing the better pics is 1814 S-295 R.1 20/15.
