If you send'em in they'll fix that. :-)

Hmmm. He was not difficult to find, a B&M dealer within walking distance for me. Perhaps I should pay a visit.

He says free shipping and returns. If you pay him $100,000 and the $100,000 shows up in his bank account. And then you realize you just paid $100,000 for a typo and want a refund, does he have to declare that as $100,000 in income to the IRS and then a $100,000 expense on a Schedule C ?

There are people who actually pay a premium for slab label errors but this guy is over the top.
It would not surprise me that this seller paid an MS-64 wholesale price for an 1883-O and not for the 1883-CC it actually is. There is no price difference for the 1888 and 1888-O in MS-60.

IMHO, this seller is either having a big laugh at the expense of NGC, or else he's "certified nuts."

I'm just relieved to see he thought enough to wear gloves while handling that slab.

All he needs is one buyer. A special collector.
I hate to see a major grading service making mistakes but they can be fixed.
