As long as you don't take the fully struck one I guess I won't be too mad at you

Hopefully there are some! I just don't like how mine has a broken petal or missing the top part of the crown or something like that. (this one is a business strike)

I really like nickel dollars but prefer the earlier ones, I always see them and want to buy them but the obverses deter me.

Like this one? This one's a 1969. There's some severe ghosting on the reverse. They look pretty much like this until they reduced the obverse relief, I think. I need to check to be sure, can't remember.

The other side of that 1969. The date especially the 69 is very light. Here's a 1968 with a bunch of rolling lines. These are the best pics I currently have. Old pics, all of them. It is present in other parts of the coin but they are most pronounced here.

It's a bit hard for me to decide because my pics were taken at an angle (too dark otherwise) and yours from straight up. I hope you have a winner though, that notched top A looks promising. If my memory is working properly, I remember the top left serif of the N having a notch, and a bit of extra thickness on the right vertical line too. The doubling on R and E is light but it sure looked messed up. The dot between DG and Regina is a little oblong. If you can try taking the pics of A and N at an angle like mine (the angle I'm familiar seeing it from) maybe I can help you more. And guess what? My camera is working again today. Gotta love them electronics - sometimes you feel like stabbing them or throwing them out of the window. My MS Word crashed earlier today right before I pressed print and I wasn't able to recover any part of my finished homework. My own computer denied me saving the file saying "you do not have permission to save files in this computer". Edit: Okay, that came out as a long rant, sorry...

I only have one, and now it's in the mail, so I have 0 now. Nothing else to compare to.

I am beginning to wonder if the top of the 'A' suffered minor damage on the striking die, giving the illusion of a notched appearance... the rest of the elements just don't seem to jive with it...

I'm not a lumberjack and I'm not OK, I don't sleep all night and I work all day (exams week is here and hopefully it's not a problem here if I'll be temporarily ridiculous to keep me sane) Whose coin are you referring to in the last post SPP?
