I am repeating my
Lincoln Cent giveaway again this year. For those who aren't familiar, I will send you two uncirculated Lincoln cents, one from the Philadelphia mint and one from the Denver mint. All you have to do is tell me you want a set. It's a giveaway!
To add interest, we will do a Q+A format this year:
What do I have to do to get in on this offer KenKat?Post in the forum that you would like a set and then send me a PM (private message, the little picture of the envelope and paper) with your mailing address. Don't post your address in the forum.
KenKat, how will these be sent?I will send you a P and D uncirculated
Lincoln Cent from a roll, wrapped in my patented "thick piece of paper folded over itself several times, taped and then taped again" and then taped one more time into a #10 Mead security envelope with US Postage affixed. Fancy, isn't it?
I live in a country other than the US. Is that allowed?I assume you mean "will I ship to a foreign address"? If I can put a stamp on it, then yes, I will send it anywhere.
If you mean, are you allowed to live in a different country, I am afraid you will need to answer that yourself
KenKat, do I have to have a certain amount of posts to participate?I believe the answer to that is no, you do not since this is a giveaway. I will defer to the rules of the forum however, but I believe the above is correct.
How soon will I get my coins?I will batch these up and make periodic mailings, so it may be a few days. I did tell my wife that I was doing this again and she asked "does this mean I am going to be going to the post office again"? "Yes, honey, yes it does".
Can I send you anything in return? No, that is not necessary. I have received many nice coins from various CCF'ers over the years and this is just a small way to give back and spread a little happiness and fun.
How many coins are available?I have a roll each of P and D, and will keep a few so somewhere in the neighborhood of 45. When they're gone, they're gone.
Are these MS70 grade? No, they probably went through an automated rolling machine, so while they are untouched by human hands I believe, they may have a couple of normal contact marks. I will try to screen out anything really bad. They look pretty nice overall. Probably MS67 or MS68 Red.
What could go wrong? With my patented shipping system, I have never lost any yet but you never know.
I almost guarantee someone will respond but not send their address.
Other than that, it's all good!
What if I have a question you didn't answer?Impossible! IMPOSSIBLE!

But, you can always send me a PM or post your question here.
Let the games begin!
