1905 V nickel PROOF OR UNC?
is this a proof version or the regular version?
How can I tell the difference?
Also, what would you grade it?

It looks like a well-struck business strike. The edges appear rounded.

Agreed, Business Strike although a very good one. The detail sharpness doesn't quite reach Proof; these are very sharply struck as Proofs.

Gorgeous coin! Here's an example of a proof. There is a bit of a difference in the sharpness of the strike. PG

Truly an exceptional business strike! The fact that there are clearly defined corn kernels on the left hand ear on the bottom of the reverse is quite rare. That area tends to be poorly struck.
