Note on your clipped area. At the edges of the clipped area the rim tapers down. The devices fade near the clipped area. If it were a normal coin that was cut, the devices would be strong near the clipped area. The edges of the rim would not taper down. Yours is real.

And to think I really almost didnt even ask you guys because I thought it might be a stupid question-almost tossed this one...this blakesly effect I keep hearing about can someone point it out or mabi show a better pic of it? Thanks!

1972-PMD?

This happens during the setup process to add the rim to the blank turning it into a planchet. When an incomplete blank is run through the machine, the area where the clip is doesn't exert pressure to that edge. That area (180 degrees from the missing area) is thus a bit flatter and not as rounded as the the rest of the planchet. This can be on one side or both. An indicator that most look at first for a true clipped cent.
