I am trying to get a copy of this book by Wiley and Bugert, either in book form or online. Amazon has 2 copies available but they are priced over $700! I am willing to pay for a decent copy, but I don't think that $700+ is fair. Maybe I am wrong, but I doubt it. Can anyone provide some guidance?

Dealer Rich Uhrich sells the newer books they are in a multi (6) volume set.
http://www.richuhrichcoins.com/category.php?cat=18 I am not affiliated with them, just a satisfied past and current customer.

Note the David Lawrence book is good, it is the same Wiley/Bugert you found for $700, Rich Uhrich sold his last copy for $395.00 so I'd say overpriced where you found it at $700, but even at $400 it is more a collectible in it's own right, use the online version for free and get the newer 6 volume set as you can afford it for the best deal.

I just noticed that many of the links are down due to DLRC updating the new website, so no images are coming up, I've e-mailed them about this, and since it's not a mission critical website problem for them, I'm sure they are aware now, and will fix things as soon as they can.

Thank you very much. I did check out DLRC myself and saw no pics, so I was worried that wouldnt be an option. I hope they have that fixed soon.

I am an avid collector of that series of coins and obviously that reference is like the Bible for those coins. I think I will one day pick it up when the price is right, I certainly would not be upset if I could snag one for under $200.

Just heard back today from John Feigenbaum, President
David Lawrence Rare Coins here is what he had to say about the book section, specifically on the Seated half dollar book in two different e-mails to me:

Quote:
Thank you for pointing this out. I am looking into it and will get back to you as soon as I determine what happened to the content on the Seated half dollar book.

Quote:
Looks like we had some data corruption. We will work on getting these pages corrected over the next few days. In the meantime, please let me know if you see any other issues on our Books section so we can fix those as well. So far, it seems possible this is isolated to the Seated half dollar book.

Great news that the President thinks it's important enough to fix as quickly as possible, DLRC is a GREAT Company!
