Hi all new to collecting and I haven't seen anything like this before. I know the pic isn't the best but I found this nickel in a roll from the bank and noticed most of "In God We Trust" is missing and the date and the word "Liberty" is faded at the end. Is this a common mint mistake, or is it something someone has done to this coin. Any ideas? Thanks all for your help!

Welcome to the Forum wacoinman,

I am having a hard time seeing what is wrong with your nickel. If you could post a larger picture, it would help.
