Is this a NL or a FL? And how do you think ICCS would grade it? The coin is in a NGC slab without a NL/FL designation.

Looks like you have a winner.
NSF Near Leaf.
What did NGC grade it at?
I'm not sure if those scratches are on coin or holder.

JimmyD - Thanks for confirming. It's my 1st NSF NL.

I'd like to get a few grades before I post what NGC gave it. I mainly collect KG V 5 cents and don't know how to grade the KG VI series yet. It looks like a low grade to me. If so, do you think ICCS will designate it as scratched or is this just par for the course given usage in parking meters etc.

I'm probably going to crack this out and send to ICCS. If anyone has an ICCS pop report for NSF NL mules, please post.

NSF, near leaf.
I would have to know, if those scratches are on the coin or the holder?

Thanks guys. NGC graded it "XF details OBV Scratched". Personally, I agree with the net F15 and do not see this as even close to XF.

Received the coin last week. It took forever to arrive.

It looks so much better in hand than I thought it would based on the photos above which is why NGC probably gave it an XF details grade. The luster/shine under the letters around the rim is strong and clean and the scratches aren't nearly as noticeable.

I think XF is high but F is harsh. Have a look online at some of the pictures of ICCS graded NSF coins. 53 F graded coins have significantly more wear on high points. This coin would grade VF20/30 with ICCS. I would generally stay away from sending problem coins to either NGC or PCGS. You're just not going to get a grade.
