I saw a new Chinese seller on ebay. It sells 1 oz panda gold coin for $9.99 starting price without reserve !!
What do you think about that ? For my part that smells swindle very hard and these feedbacks do not reassure.

gold doesn't necessarily mean the content is 100% gold. In this very case, 100% gold plated.

I didn't realize that running a true auction constituted a "swindle".

Susan and I must be really ripping people off because we start everything at 99¢ with no reserve.

I realize this seller is probably bogus, but a low starting price with no reserve is the right way to do it.

Shipping costUSD:38.00 Packing charges must of USD:10
Labor and management must of USD:10

Labor and management charge of $10.00 for what? Painting the coins gold?
I would have passed on this auction just because the negative feedback plants a very large seed of doubt in my mind.

graceoutcast - You said "not anything worth having a counterfeit of" ... I think that every coin ever made has been counterfeited by someone at some time. The fact that a coin is low value does not protect you from counterfeits.

I would advise only bidding in China if you are prepared to get a worthless item for your money.

I do it all the time - but then I am expanding my modern counterfeit type collection.
