One way to have a good look at all the coins is to sort them by denomianation then by year and just see what you've got. Be careful that the staples on the 2X2's don't scratch the coins -- that is, keep them stacked neatly. Do you intend to keep the collection or sell it? It's easier to give advice when we know your goals. Meanwhile - enjoy!

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome and advice.
Buddy, my intention is to keep the more valuable coins as 1) an investment and 2) something I can introduce to my kids as they grow older. The rest, I was hoping to sell off.

First of all welcome to CCF. Ask and ye shall learn. You really have an interesting assortment of coins but I would suggest that you get some books on the coins you would like to concentrate you collecting on if that be your desire. Also learn all you can on grading coins and how to handle and store coins. Ask plenty of questions here and you will be led to many interesting web site and sources of information.

Thank you BadToTheBone! Especially on your advice about handling them. I did't realize the oils from my fingers could have an effect on the coins especially when I wasn't holding them on their sides. There's definitely a lot of reading I have to do!
