It's not a thing us brits are known for, but I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I'm just interested in how UK stackers store their coins.

Over in the states Whitman make specific coin tubes, and there's the silver tubes, but they're specific to their own coin sizes (Obviously) and even getting hold of those is silly money with postage (Although I did pick up some Nickel and Small Dollar ones on Amazon UK)

Personally I 'stack' the commemorative 50p's and £2's
(Plus territory designs and years of all coins)

The system I use for the 50p's and £2's is below.
(28mm sample pots from ebay stacked in a 5L Really Useful Box)
and cheap storage compartment boxes for the Olympic 50p's.

The Pots (Such a shame the £2's don't fit perfectly )

Lower Count storage tubs just fit on top.

The only other thing I thought of which would be perfect, but the only place I can find to buy them is abroad so again P&P ramps up the price.... Button Tubes !!
I had some of these when I was a kid, kept all my large pre-decimal pennies in them, but they were old and brittle and broke.

Have you tried John Lewis or a craftworld-type place Red? There are a variety of different size containers for storing things like beads and buttons. Maybe one of those would be a good fit?

I have no idea what it would cost in postage across the pond, as it is a company located in the US, but http://www.jpscorner.com carries a variety of coin tubes, including AirTite coin tubes, which I use. I've dealt with them before and can recommend them.

I thought you were asking if there were any Slackers in the UK !

If you're low on them across the pond, we can send you some of ours, kind of a Bundles for Britain thing, if you like.
