I recently purchased this for $60 and I'd like to get your opinions on currently my oldest silver coin in my collection (and my third oldest overall).

I agree with most opinions, being at the cusp of a G-6 and VG-8 (Full LIBERTY visible and great shield detail with the motto nearly complete with some feather details, but with the eye and clasp completely worn away), and is actually an uncommon coin of its age where the obverse is slightly more worn than the reverse. I've seen G-6 obverses with P-01 reverses before of these coins. At least it isn't holed nor has ED nor has damage in more prime focal areas, and I found a good substitute for a loupe: my Panasonic HC-V10 with allows up to 15X magnification on coins before not detecting them properly. The rim damage nearly forms a rectangular pattern, which means it could have gotten stuck in something.
