well this is a bummer for sure no doubt this is an error 1993 penny, but it in bad shape. I don't even know if it can be saved... but since it my first find as far as errors go, I wanted to share anyway. bump above memorial on right, and another on the column to the left of Lincoln.

What makes you suspect that is an error and not PMD?

oh is it? dang, I'm all confused. I could have swore that when it is like a bump and not like a hole (due to zinc rot) that was from die filling in holes... looking at it from the side these are raised bubbles and not holes or missing areas. so I thought it was from maybe a die crack, hole or something. doesn't surprise me though. What could have caused this PMD? adding to the coin?

yes @slamnbass I thought so to, but it seems I'm clueless. @fuzzy317 yea I can see that, but these are the coins top layer color and it doesn't look like solder, these run smooth and blend in where as a solder will have an edge whether sharp or smoothed or even worn down, it is usually easy to spot a solder area. These appear as a raised area and not something that was added to the surface. you can see this with the one on the coloumn, plus I don't think they would solder something that would sit crooked or have the penny crooked if it was a jeweler. but I could be wrong

That clump at the top end of the Memorial is Rot or something foreign. As far as the line around the top-middle of the Memorial that looks foreign as well to me.

The line reminds me of evaporation of a substance on the coin. It might have been in a fountain or wishing well. The green color makes me think that. The raised area reminds me of zinc rot from split plating from the roof area. When the zinc is exposed, it start working under the plating pushing it upward.
