I have been saving this one for a little while for a Saturday Night Special (weekend). What do you think that PCGS had to say about this lovely lady?

If you would like to take a stab at the Overton Variety, compared to what the seller has it identified as, please go right ahead.

Thank you for your interest!

Wow ... PCGS lovely!

One of the tremendous benefits of this greatest of coin forums is that non-experts get to enjoy the knowledge and experience of the true experts ... while still appreciating great coins.

I have no expertise in this series ... and as such admit my estimate of grade at AU55 has no basis in series knowledge.

I'm sorry, man, I have to come back to this one. On initial impression I simply can't be objective about a coin this beautiful. Holy cow.

Aside mentioning that this as strongly struck as I have ever seen a Bust Half Dollar.

A couple of good reasons I needed to have this one.

O-112 - That is what the seller identified it as well. Would you please describe the Pick Up Points to this variety AcesKings?

Very nice coin with just a touch of rub. I presume more luster is present than shows in the images since the surfaces look completely original. AU-55, with a shot at AU-58. Premium quality!

Certainly could market grade as MS even with a rub, I'll say MS62. Very nice!

I'm going with the ms 60 to 62 I agree that the pictures may not show the true luster and as far as strike love it. I've seen better but not on an 1818. The strike on this is astonishing.

Aside from star alignments, the date (81 closer than either 18) and on the reverse, it has a die line from the "I" to "C" in AMERICA.

I think it could go as high as MS63 but possibly made a high AU grade from PCGS?

Oh wow, that's really high grade for the date, I was expecting a VF. I grade Au-58, maybe even MS.
