I found this nickel roll hunting. I was wondering what the approximate value of the coin would be if I would to sell the coin to a dealer or on ebay? I just want a estimate for bragging rights to my friends haha, I have no plan on selling it any time in the future since I have a small Jefferson nickel error collection of coins I found in boxes.

It looks like a more circulated or latter die state of this Cud.

I think between 10-30 dollars on ebay. I would keep it to for sometime.

I think it is also between 10 and 30 - depending. Might be on the lower to middle of that range.

Cool find.

Congrat on a great find
Too realize the most profit would be an auction style setting such as ebay $15 to $30 A run of the mill coin dealer might offer you $10

Did anyone notice "PLUR" on the reverse? Is this PMD?

Consider that happened on the opposite side before you comment.

I believe that is the area that didn't strike up due to the Cud on the obverse.

The weak plur is directly behind the Cud. If you follow the link you can see the documented Cud coin has the same weakness in those three letters. I just think my coin was just a little later die stage.

Note the opposite side where the Cud is on the reverses.

Ok that makes me feel better I didn't know Cuds that much before last night. I read a lot about them last night at it seemed to be a pretty straight forward documented one.

Finding a Cud in circulation is a rare treat. I have searched millions of coins and only found a handful.

A nice tilted clash plus a Cud. a nice double find. Evidently struck after the example posted by me. Probably one of the last struck from that die pair. What does the reverse look like on your coin? I would like to see the clash marks on it with that rotation.
