I assume it is better to start new thread on this.
Not March, but April release, and the coin belongs to the popular series.

2015 Canada $20 Broadleaf Arrowhead Flower with Venetian Glass Turtle Fine Silver Coin

Check it and see the picture.
This is official Pre-sale

**Unique hand-crafted Venetian glass element
**12500 pieces worldwide

In their add, the Turtle that near the coin looks amazing, but the turtle that will be on the coin, is "usual glass creature".

I would of thought they'd drop it back down to 10,000 after finding a bunch later on. The turtle as depicted is the nicest yet. I wonder how close it will come to it's picture! Why is RCM allowing Top World Coins to do a Presale ? I was looking at recent sales a few minutes ago, there's a frog auctioned for $90 only one bid. You'd think at that price there'd be a couple more bids. It really seems the secondary market is the way to go now.

I want one to finish my set, however, what is a good price to pay, is going to determine when to buy. I really like the color on the turtles and the bumps on the shell. I'm really hoping the glass element will closely resemble pic. I will never be able to afford the lady bug. I really like the vivid colors of that coin. To me it really pops. The mint should of capped the Mintage of the series at 8,000. Then it would stand out as truly unique and desirable and I doubt they'd become coins stuck in back of a closet. Who is thinking of adding this coin to their collection sometime in the future?

Yeah, the design is average, but people have to complete their sets.
This set, probably one of the few "gimmick" coins, that will be looking very nice together.

Regarding the image appearance:
sort of "leak", but maybe approved by RCM - the coin is last in the series, and whoever planned to get it - will order regardless the actual design.

This coin is still under embargo.

Top World Coins already violated RCM's policy.

Lol, so the RCM can quickly jump on these infractions but not put some pressure on ebay for those "fake" Chinese superman /other coins.

A Chinese website is now showing it - possibly a knockoff already but looks like the one some of you have described...
Do a general image search online and it will surface...
Kinda creepy looking

Adding an additional 2500 coins will allow people to purchase one without having to pay a higher premium on the secondary market. Good job RCM.

Ya they did such a good job that all you need to do is wait a few months and get one for $100 maybe less.

Hey Northern, I love your new image! Have u got the new coin in hand?

Back to turtle, it's nice to see the RCM take action for a change! Now if they'd put the same effort to controlling fakes, my faith as a collector would be somewhat restored. Faced with price drops on newly issued coins and Chinese Fakes, I'm leaning more to hanging out with the coins I already have. In my 2.5 yrs of being a very active collector, I have several hundred coins to look at. It's just getting over the compulsive habit to buy!!

I wonder what if any effect this Pre release image will have? I remember when ebay seller Karly Shannon leaked the Butterfly image early. ebay Pre sales were around $300 and the coin was sold out within hrs! Creating quite the buzz and then a problem for the RCM, with many irate MC members. The butterfly was the 1st coin of the series I got. Last yr I got a bee for $125, as it had a cracked capsule. I just called the mint and ordered a replacement capsule.

I don't see why people are saying the coin is ugly? I like the turtle as depicted. It remains to be seen if its actual quality will be good. I'd like to hear what people don't like about the coin? It makes for good discussion! I admit the colors aren't vibrant. I really liked how vibrant the colors were on the first two coins!! I found the color on the coneflower drab in comparison. I wish they had done something like a tiger lily. The flower on the frog was again vibrant. The foliage choice does seem appropriate for the turtle. I'm just a fan of vibrant color to accent. I really like the flower series with the crystals, however, I feel those are overpriced!
I know I will wait to save money and buy mine on the secondary market. Or maybe I will be lucky and find someone needing a frog. I still have 3 extra. I needed 2 last yr for a friend in the USA. He has 10 complete sets. He had trouble getting enough butterflies. So when I heard orders were being cancelled at the mint. I panicked and bought from other sources. I ended up with 4 extras. Last yr I was able to trade 1 for a coin I wanted and cash. I do like the frog, it's a very pretty coin. So this year I'm in no rush, especially with the increased Mintage.

I guess the mint is caught in a catch 22, so many people were upset at not getting the butterfly at issue, while being a MC member! So they increased the Mintage by 2500. Now collectors are steamed because the coin has lost value. I believe the lost value is what has killed interest in the last coin! I'd like to hear how many collectors plan to wait for a deal?

Lets face it, it does add to the fun to own a coin that goes up 10%. We don't boast as much when we buy a coin, which starts dropping soon after it's released. If collectors didn't give some consideration to value, the finial coin would still have an active fan base talking about the series and how many they are purchasing.
I remember people talking about 3 or more butterflies, even the frog had people interested in 2. Anyone care to share their views on this series? It would be interesting to hear from the new members, what they think?
