The RCM Boutique in Vancouver had them in store last week. Actually the turtle was released to the general public last week ahead of the regular April releases today. It was in stock, turned to "awaiting stock", now back to in stock. Maybe people are cancelling their orders because it is not doing so well on ebay.

Cancelled my order from the Mint and bought the coin from J and M in Vancouver. $134.95 plus 7% PST.

With tax, that's $144.40 so a savings of all of $5.60. Better than nothing, but if shipping is added - it wont be a decent sale, as the Mint's price of $149.95 includes free shipping for M/C members.

Yes, total comes to $144.40. They called me today to pick up the coin. I can't remember what the guy said that I pay $134.95 instead of $149.95. But there is a promotion going on at J and M. For example, the 3-coin Singing Mask set is selling for $316.95. The website shows sold out, but this guy at the store said they do have 2 in stock.

The J&M Coin site still shows the turtle coin as $149.99.
The moon mask set at $316.95 is a very good price. What other coins/stuff do they have on sale?

Okay, I remember now. I got the $134.95 deal because J and M wanted to offer a discount to the first few people who requested a reservation on the coin. Also, they are selling the 2015 50-cent roll for $22.49.

Received a couple of the turtles last week. They look good to me but both arrived with their capsules not quite closed. QA at the Mint really appears to be slipping. No surprise I guess as they transform themselves in the Perth Mint North.

Received my turtle yesterday and it it looks fine.
Thinking about making up a display box for the whole series but I'm not sure how many slots to make? The turtle is the 5th and last in the series but wondering if there will be any more Xmas Venetian glass coins ?
I dont want to make a case with 7 slots (2011-15 & 2013-14 Xmas) and have another Xmas coin is released this year. I might have to just wait or ask my rep.

@Sherwooddavid: The "series" consists of coins where flowers are paired with creatures. So, if you look at it that way, then the Christmas coin is external to the series.
I didn't get the Christmas coin, but if I had, I think I would wrap up the series as it is, and treat the Christmas coin (and future glass coins) differently. Just my thought on it.
The mint site is now showing the turtle as 97% sold. Wish I had only bought one of these.

Thanks Jerry B, makes sense! So a 5 slot case is what I'll go with.
