Thanks, Panda, for pictures.

It does look good. The 12500 mintage is to assure, that everyone who wants it - will get it.
Do we need small mintage and hyper-increased price? Or beatiful coin, available for less than issue?

For some reason, when we buy the car, we try to get it below MRSP, and usually do not care about production quantity, although it nice to get "good" serial number.

There is an ad on Kijiji where someone in North Toronto is selling the Turtle coin for $148.00 or three or more for $145.00 each.
Looks like the price is coming down fast.

Ya not surprising with 12500 mintage.

If he has a dealer discount of say 20% he is making $30 off each coin . $45 bucks at %30 discount.

Flippers buying the coin at issue price cant compete with that.

So if flippers are not buying this coin because they cant make money on them, there goes the Hype / early market price bump.

Already 16 on ebay with lowest so far of $185 bin , crashing fast. Everyone trying to uder cut the next guy lol.

I found a turtle that has a less pronounced bumpy shell and appears more smooth.

The snowman is not a hot coin, will not put a new hot coin away.

I just ordered the coin from the Mint. I'm disappointed they chose to raise the mintage instead of decreasing it or keeping it at 10k. I've got all the previous coins except the ladybug. I regret not buying the ladybug, I could have gotten 3 from the Mint plus a few from the dealers, but I didn't realize how popular they were. I initially thought they were gimmicky Anyways, everybody who bought the coin, should enjoy it.

The popularity of the coin shouldn't change your opinion about it.
It still gimmicky, so you might did not earn a couple of thousand on them, but didn't loose a thing, by not buying the Ladybug for yourself.

The coin is back in stock at the RCM. For the past week it was at "awaiting stock" but I guess they kept some back for public release. Much like the 2nd venetian bumble bee coin which was also sold out before general release but they
had a few available on general release day.

They told me that they will have the actual stock by the end of the month. So people are cancelling their orders and turning to another sources.
