Another Mercury dime for grading, what do you think? Also, does the discoloration on the reverse lower the grade?

MS63FB; seems like quite a few fine scattered marks. Might be very lightly circulated.

Mercs seem to grade high. MS64FB, and 65 wouldn't surprise me.
Rest in Peace

Thank you, these are actually the photos that the dealer provided me with when I purchased them. I am allowed to use them as I please, so sayeth the seller. Personally, I can only dream of getting photo quality that good.

Ok, let us know if the dime is the same as the pictures. Looks like a great seller with honest pictures. IMO

Do I spot doubling on the face profile? I'm looking at the lip chin and forehead. It could be MD?

I think it makes MS-64FB and certainly the discoloration will play a role in grading in part as eye-appeal.

FSB iffy. The top bands look close, maybe it's just the photo. MS-63 details but why no luster? Just playing devil's advocate.

I need to see this one on my bigger monitor. It has the exact look of a good dSLR with a dedicated lens and a little bit of light diffusion to bring out details. I have a few Mercs imaged with just this effect. Without the diffusion the luster won't be blinding, just struck from a die well into its' life.
