Which "doubling" Is This?

There is doubling around all the sides of the letters and the doubling is flat not rounded. If it was an doubled die the doubling would only show on one side of the device. foundinrolls Pillar of the Community United States 3507 Posts	Posted 10/09/2007 9:54 pm Actually both Mechanical Doubling and Die Deterioration Doubling. LD show mostly Mechanical Doubling and the TE on STATE shows Die Deterioration Doubling. That "orange peel" effect that you see on the right and left areas of the coin often show up as a die becomes really worn. Report this Post to the Staff
