Closest I've found on Google is Japanese Red Cross medal but issued in occupied Chuugoku (China). The cross and ribbon are both colourized.

Bit of a contradiction to me. Japanese Red Cross? In occupied Japan?

In Japanese-occupied China. Japan has had a Red Cross society since it was founded in 1877 and it has always enjoyed the patronage of the Imperial family. An international Red Cross conference was even held in Tokyo in 1934, while Japanese troops were still mopping up after invading Manchuria. During WWI, the Red Cross helped ensure that German POWs captured by the Japanese were treated humanely, but during WWII, the Japanese military prevented them from accessing POW and internment camps. Even so, as with the Nazi-controlled German Red Cross, their legacy was tainted by their close association with a regime that committed war crimes. They were reorganized after the war's end.
