Yes. The "R" on PLURIBUS and the missing mint mark over the dome tells me this is a Henning Nickel. These do carry a value even though they are counterfeits.

Nice find! But be careful if you try to sell it, I'm not sure if they still fall under the laws of counterfeit coins.

Other Hennings (different dates) exist. As far as I know, Henning did not counterfeit any mintmarked coins. Most of the Henning counterfeits seen today are the 1944 coins because they were supposed to have a mintmark and didn't have one --- that's easy to spot. The 1944 coins are even mentioned in The RedBook.

Yes this is a Henning. It is the variety with the defective R. How did you get it?

Here is some information about them from a site on the internet: http://www.coinbooks.org/esylum_v07n13a09.htmlThe price range for them is a lot higher as many collectors would like to have them. Probably now in the $75 range. There are a few example on ebay for more and some for less there.

Indeed! It's a Henning. Good find! They are perfectly legal to sell and without marking it as they were manufactured before 1973. See the following chart: http://www.theblackcabinet.org/2015...equirements/. The price range is presently between $50 and $125, middling around where coop said.
