I received the third coin in the birds of prey series, Peregrine Falcon 2014, Bald Eagle 2014, and Red Tailed Hawk 2015. I am a fan of the Wildlife Series of 6 Bullion Coins and like to collect these inexpensive good looking coins. There is some milk spotting. I know that it is bullion and some may not see this as the right subforum but as it is a series and limited to 1,000,000 coins each, I think they are collectable. The Bald Eagle sold out a million coins in 2014. A popular coin among Canadians and Americans alike. The designs are cool, and the price is right at $25-$30 per coin for a full ounce. After all the discussion on the price of NCLT, I though it may be neat to highlight coins that are collectable and inexpensive. Edited by SilverDon 03/07/2015 10:16 am

Thanks for posting this information and the photos. I have been considering a bullion purchase and these may fit the bill. I like the look of these.

Ya these are great ,they look good, just watch out the the dreaded milk spots developing. Its sad The RCM cant produce silver bullion without milk spots , some have them some don't, surly they know how to "not" do it.

Orfew, you should check out the bullion forum for some of the world bullion coins available, some spectacular coins from Asia and Africa, Pandas from China, Australian Bullion, much out there to choose from and many sizes. This is a neat thread for world bullion coins; https://goccf.com/t/183207 Yes Northerncoins, milk spots are starting to show on the Falcon and Eagle but the Hawk is too fresh. The only SML series that I find to have no milk spots is the Lunar Privy Marked series, it seems to have a satin finish rather than the linen, and they are very clean after 4 years for the dragon and three years for the snake, horse 2 and new sheep. All free of spots, now these are 25,000 and likely a different process than 1,000,000 mintage linen finish bullion coins. They really have to nail it down and eliminate the milk spot issue, like waffled rimmed toonies it has been going on far too long. The thing about these coins is you can sell them for weight if the price of silver goes up, very liquid.

Ya I have a Privy maple "somewhere" don't even remember which Privy Mark it is, I just have too many coins, bullion and NCLT, although I got rid of "some" of my NCLTs ,I have parted with very little bullion, I should probably give them some love soon, and take them out of their dark hiding spot lol. Although I am afraid of what I might find.

All of these nice looking, inexpensive coins. But milkspots appearence non predictible and it destroys the beauty of the coin. They do not affects the design, but detract from the coin as collectible. Almost the same - 1.5oz coins series. With the time the spots may or may not appear. And if you sure, that your coins are clean of the spots - check carefully the coins under different angles. Just checked my bullion set: nothing appear on 2012 SML, but milk spot on the 2014 Panda.... what I haven't seen yet - milk spots on the Perth Mint bullion

Yes Yingyang, I use the Leuchtturm Nobile Quadrum 6, will throw in a couple of dessication bags. Thanks for the tip. How much for that one? Seen them on the Shopping Channel with Brombergs coin sets.

In the Silver Stackers forum there are threads and pictures of Perth Mint coins with milk spots....defiantly not nearly as common as RCM but I can happen. non of my perth or Chinese have milk spots. My phils and samolia elephants do tho This is the case I used for the 6 wildlife series. Worked really well but doesn't have a nice clear lid like the pictures you are showing. Cheers https://silvergoldbull.com/leathere...-box-6-coins
