I'm sorry for the poor quality pictures but I don't have the coin yet. I know it's hard especially in a holder but anyone care to guess anacs opinion on this one. Sorry if anyone feels I wasted their time but do to my illness it's TV, ebay, and coin forum and I find my greatest pleasure right here in the coin forum.

You're not wasting anyone's time. This what we live for. I would like to offer a grade but I'm on my phone and the coin is kind of hard to see so I'll let others chime in. I give an opinion later when I get home!

Looks like a high AU, either 55 or 58, with substantial luster evident. Hard to tell in these images but it looks like there's just a trace of rub on the cheek and in the fields, above IGWT for example. The breast feathers seem weak but that could be strike (or image) rather than wear. I don't see any problems.

The 1901 is very pricey in high grades and this looks like a nice one. Congrats!

Sorry about your illness; hope you are on the road to recovery.

I agree on the AU. I'd like a close look at those tailfeathers to see if it is a DDR.
Rest in Peace

I would have to guess AU53/58 based on the price point for this date/mmm. The photos are somewhat inconclusive.

Ok it's graded by anacs au 53 details cleaned. Paid $190.00 because I don't agree with the grading and in an auction other people bid $160.00 to $180 so I can't get hurt. The listing is 311305342825. In case you want to see it better. On my 21 inch screen it's much clearer. And if you scroll down in the add the pics are blown up nicely you can see chest feathers and hairlines above the ear.

Lotta talon left for 53, for sure. You didn't steal it but nobody's getting fat on the profit either.
