Looks like the u from unum on the reverse. Maybe it is legit. I can't wait to see what the real experts say.

I would like some other close ups on this coin. It almost looks like I see a "R" and "S" between the other devices? Maybe a few images of the reverse?

I have a few errands to tend to, then I will try to get some more pics. Trying to get the lighting right without washing it out was my biggest hurdle last night.

Make a curtain of a plastic grocery bag between the light source and the coin. that should help drop off the brightness. If this doesn't work try diffusing it with what bond paper. Depending on your light, these suggestions will help/solve the problem.

I know I am interested in what Cooper and few others here think is going on with it.

It appears to be a legitimate dropped letter/number (incuse). What I can't figure out is what. Looks like a 6 but it's too small. A 2? Not from this coin.

O,I think its Incuse for sure. I think as well this fellow will have more pics and looks to be trying to work out the light for you guys.
Great advice Cooper on helping him with the light. I like a strong light and diffusing it with paper. Most times I do not need the light pointing at the Cent.

I took a look at this cent around 1-2 this morning. I looked at it and want to help but was thinking/still am thinking this one is going to be a treat for the more Vet Members to work with.
I think I have one somewhere in my stash, but is put away and I have no idea where it is in the stash.

Looks like a U, S, and T all precede the UST in TRUST. But it takes looking at all pic's to see this. Some don't show the S and others the T. But the U, if it is a U, is present in all photos. Curious...

In hand all I can see is the "u", (if that's what it is), no matter how hard I look at different angles and light. I do see "extra letters" in a few of the pics though. I think it is just an illusion. The more I look at the pics I see a dropped G from GOD, but in hand I can't be certain.

It is probably a dropped letter then. I was wondering about a double strike, but if the letter is incuse, then it has to be a dropped letter.

First thing good thing you took as many pics as u did.
Old Pics/First Pics
Pic 1 pretty sold Pic 2 not sold Pic 3 Very Sure Pic 4 Very Sure
New Pics
Pic 1 Have no idea Pic 2 Very sure Pic 3 Very sure Pic 4 See what Pic 5 See what Pic 6 See what
At this point I think you would not done this much if it was not Incuse right so as well few of your pics you posted I am sold here,Incuse.
Overall if you want to sell it,work out the pics closer to the Cent and get them as good or better then 1 thur 4 First set of pics and 2-3 New pics.
I think as well take pics over a few days. Take your time. If it a Incuse letter/number then in all likely hood its a dropped letter. That is a pretty big find. My advice work out time for this Cent with pics.
