I see no reason why it couldn't go MS65PL. Cheek's really clean, but just enough marks in the fields to probably limit it to that, though.

MS64 and possibly PL. TPG are really tough with PL designations these days, 100% of the fields must be reflective and that is hard to find. Yours might make it.

The reverse is PL for sure. I can't tell if the obverse makes it or not. The coin is a solid 64 regardless.

Bill Fivaz sold it to me as an MS-63 PL. There is a bit more chatter in the fields than can be seen in the pictures. The first couple pictures are the most accurate of the group. I believe it is truly a PL dollar. There is a heavy bagmark right at the top of the eagle's tail. It got hidden in my photos. Any idea on the VAM?

Ok. I just measured the reflectivity by putting the coin at the end of a ruler and seeing where I could no longer see lines/numbers. The obverse was 2 - 2 1/2" and the reverse 3 - 3 1/2". Was not a very accurate test, but seemed to work well enough.
There are also two patches of hairlines on the obverse, which can be seen in front of Liberty's forehead and behind her head. Doen't look like cleaning marks, as they are concentrated to just those areas. What caused them?
There are more marks on the cheek than the pictures show, they are very light and dont disturb the frost that much. It looks as if this and another dollar rubbed against each other for a period of time.
All in all, I think Bill Fivaz was right-on at MS-63 PL, and I don't think it'll go any higher than that.
