It's been awhile since I've been able to add to my Cohen set of classic head Half Cents. 2 more to go (1811 C-1 and C-2, saved the best for last). Here is my latest. 1810 Half Cent, much better than I had anticipated from the auction photos. While not as difficult to find as the 1811, the 1810 mintage is elusive in high grades and often has planchet issues. This could on a good day reach VF20, but I think F15 is more accurate. My EAC grade is a 12 but I'm not deducting for the old pin scratch above Liberty's head at this grade level and with this nice of color and problem free look. What does everyone else think? Photos are a little dark to see what the surfaces look like. From these photos, VF-20.

That is a pretty little half sister! Congratulations on the new addition to your collection. I agree with F12/F15 obverse with VF 20 reverse.
I hope you are able to get your 1811 soon - I must say, however, the 1811 does seem to be quite surprisingly readily available for a coin that is considered (and priced) as scarce. I have a c-1 in VG or so, will try to find a photo of it.

Germanicvs, I agree, the 1811 is not terribly difficult to find, its just difficult to find without problems, even in low grades. The nice ones don't come up for sale often and ebay has a bunch listed all with problems. There are actually about the same number of 1810's listed for sale as 1811's at any given time on ebay, or so it seems. And the 1810's typically have issues as well, which is why I am so pleased with this one.

I think this example is a bit better than EAC 12 and I'm notorious for under grading copper.

Nice eye appeal which tends to be difficult to find on these. Very nice example. VF20
