Here are 2 halfpennies I found in my grandads coin box, both in a very good state for their age but have no idea about them as they are not normal!

2-Halfpennies,-Odd-Coins?

2-Halfpennies,-Odd-Coins?

As you can see has Half Penny - New Brunswick on the front and the date of 1854 on the back?

And then this one

2-Halfpennies,-Odd-Coins?

on the front it appears to have the words The Wooden Walls Of Old England, on the back the words

2-Halfpennies,-Odd-Coins?

"The First of June 1794" - yet the coin date it 1795 - and has the words "Earl Howe" and a bust of him?

I have looked on Wikipedia and searched June 1st but nothing has come up for 1794 and nothing linking Earl Howe, who at the time was Richard Howe

Can't conclusively identify or value the Condor Token (Earl Howe) without knowing the edge inscription. Could be 'payable in lancaster london or bristol' or 'payable at london' or something else. Usually in this condition I'd estimate value of common designs at $20-40, but the scratches will knock that down a bit.

The New Brunswick half penny token is in lovely condition despite the spot on the reverse. I don't have a value guide that includes token issues handy, but someone should be able to help with that soon. Heritage shows a sale of one I'd call 'impaired uncirculated' for $230 four years ago.

I looked around the edge of this coin and it reads

"Payable in London or Bristol"
