I know that this nickle not in cherrypicer guide as you see there some doubling on it where it be machine or true doubling
what do you think

Mechanical Doubling as well as doubling due to die fatigue. Nickels are probably the coins that you will find more false doubling on than just about anything else. The metal is hard and the dies wear to a point where Die Deterioration Doubling is more the norm than the exception.

but some are so bad it sure make one think its a D/Die
but here one the the forum said it wasn't a D/Die,I sold it on ebay saying it maybe D/die.
then about 8 weeks later the buyer e-mail me and said it came back for NGC MS-55 D/Die

So maybe the 3 graders at NGC seen something we didn't

sure makes one think a little harder

MS-55 doesn't exist as a grade, and I would suspect the guy who said he had it graded, did not have it graded by a company that knows what to look for. The pictures still do not show any evidence of die doubling. Get the guy to email you a picture of the coin in the slab. Then we can see what NGC called it.

What an . What was the reason in e-mailing you that the coin graded as a double die? Was he trying to pay you the difference for a normal one or a double die?

the 2004 was sold in 2006 not the 59 ant 2004 was the 1 that was graded the person I sold it to said he had it graded I am just trying to get him to e-mail me a picture of it in a ngc holder
