1972 D Coincidence Or Error? - Coin Community Forum

tweak800 Pillar of the Community United States 1249 Posts	Posted 03/12/2015 01:29 am Well I found one about 4 months ago and I set it on the desk and discarded it as PMD from a hit. well I ran across another one and said wait what happened to that first one . Being myself it was still sitting there on the side of the desk. Now this if it a coincidence is really odd same date same mintmark ? I tried to google it found nothing I'mturning to you guys because idk. What would cause it if PMD or error? Also I can't be the only one to have seen this and to have seen 2 of them like these are the only 2 in the world and they are both coin hits and I found them yeah that doesn't add up not even in my universe. lol Report this Post to the Staff

The mark seems to close in to be a coin wrapper to me. But either way, the coin is now damaged. Report this Post to the Staff
