whatsup all,

I've been trying to identify errors. it is more difficult than it sounds for a noob like me. anyway, this 1981 penny has a lighter colored streak across the obv and directly continues to the rev. wondering if this is any sort of error? thanks for your reply.

Probably a bad mixture of the copper in that area. Probably more interesting than valuable.

thanks for the reply. I wasn't really expecting it to be worth anything. It's cool to think about what a coin "sees" during its existence haha.

This even happened on the coins stock, so it was struck with it already in place.
Rest in Peace

I'd keep it, just because it is interesting.
