I don't think they are worth much, $25 would be the most I would want to pay for one "if" I wanted one that is.
There are other sets with the same coins , thousands of these other sets were issued , the coins are not really worth much.
Unless you find the rare "Mule" coin , plus a few other error coins but most sets have been looked through by and resold by now.

Mules were produced for the months of September and November by combining the die for the new reverse (tails) designs with the obverse (heads) die of the Caribou quarter. The result was a coin with no denomination, 25 Cents was put on the obverse of the new designs, by using the obverse die of the Caribou quarter, the 25 Cents was not on the coin. Rare. http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins...ts-1965-2014

I really had a hard time finding that set as well. You see the oval set and the map but not this one. I looked at CCC, CA, Imaginaire, all not listed. Not on ebay, I'm checking my Charlton but not seeing this one.

I don't think I've ever seen that particular set before. Lots of the ovals and the map ones.

There are a few year 2000 set sold for $70 plus but then there are a few completed unsold for like $20 to $25, eh strange.
Ya your right, dont see 1999 sets, interesting.

Quote: CA had some sold out.I guess $25 wasn't to bad after all. Ya looks like you got a deal, I see so many of these coins on ebay I didn't expect that set to be "scarce" or so it appears.

Yingyang, I would hold on to that one. Tight. Found a nice specimen 25 cent on the bay in my search.

We used to sell those back in the day. Haven't had any in years. I would say you did very well with $25.00 spent. As SilverDon said hang onto that set.
