Just bought a uncirculated Washington 1954-S. the reverse lettering looks real fuzzy. I think its a fake. Is this the right forum to post this kind of question? and is it a fake?

It looks fine to me. Here is the reverse pic of my 1954-S that is graded.

Doesn't look fake to me. Did you check the weight? Fuzzy lettering is typical for a coin of that era.

It's in a heat sealed flip so I didn't want to cut it open to weigh it if I was going to send it back. But you guys reassured me its ok. and I looked a couple of other BU wash quarters and they are fuzzy also. 10x loupes sometimes are a bad thing!

It's just a late die state coin.
Rest in Peace

IMO it's real not fake. a lot of BU Washington quarters have weak lettering on
reverse. I try to pick out ones with strong rev. strikes.
