The car or the coin? LOL
The coin, the 1956 (weak 6) looks like a strikethrough grease error (IE grease). The second image 1956-D is just one that the mint mark is touching the 9 on the date. The placement on the dies was punched into the die. Usually they try to advoin this touching of the date, so many RPMs show on this correction as a lower mint mark may be added or a separate mint markd may be added. The punching is not a one step process. The find the placement area and punch, then repeat over the same started area. When the punchings don't match up right over each other, then a RPM is formed. Why? Because there is separation between the two or more punchings. The larger the separation the more collectable it becomes. Check out my avatar. This one probably stated NE, but a strong RPM was place lower and thus the extra marks for separated punching, forimg a RPM.

Actually, the 1956 cent shown was damaged by a counting machine. It damaged the 6 then subsequent wear and toning made the 6 look weak.

I don't remember any such name for a '56 cent. There is something called a Poorman's doubled die on the 1955 cents. Of course, they are not doubled dies at all.

Maybe Chuck has heard something about the 1956 that I never heard. Just keep in muind that when a coin is hyped for whatever reason, people can come up with all kinds of descriptive names for something that really isn't anything too out of the ordinary.
