This nickel was one of my recent experiments with acid mixtures, and while the date is entirely readable, the flat area where the mint mark was seems to be showing something now. Opinions?

I also apologize for the images being sideways, my phone does not take the best pictures.

Edit: the entire bottom of 'Five Cents' was worn flat, thought it was just a super worn Philly when it went in. Also, grammar fixes.

It sure looks like something is there.

Possibly an "S"?

Thanks for the feedback, for the moment I think I'll slip it into the 15-S hole in my dansco as I'm unsure if I should let it soak anymore or not and I have a small stack yet to go through.

I'm really stoked to have very possibly gotten a key out of a nearly flat roll find!
