I'm not sure if this is the correct section for this, but I was wondering if anybody knows where the best place to get a bag, or a brick of the new 2015 lincoln cents. I know the bank is probably the best place. But what I was wondering is do you have to special order them, so you only get 2015 p or d mints? I have bought circulated coins from the bank before, and the clerks always look at me funny. I can imagine how they will look at me when I go in there asking to special order a box or bag of lincoln cents, with a specific year and mint. Does anybody have any experience in this? I know it must be possible. I see them for sale on ebay. I live in Oregon. I search constantly, and have only seen 3 2015's. Any help would be appreciated.

I face the same problem. I've spoken to many of the banks around me, but I've found the best way to find them to be to just buy a box of pennies for CRH and grab any that are 2015/2014 rolls.

You can not special order a box from any bank. It is a hit or miss thing. John1

I got two boxes of 2015's that are brand new never been touched. All P's from the looks of it. I don't know whether to keep them or sell them back. They do look pretty shiny..

You could keep a few unopened rolls, heads on one end tails on the other. Look through the rest for errors/varieties and high grades, that's what I would do. John1

I would search all of them for errors myself. Then sell them back. That is the reason I am searching for bricks of these. Slim picking on the west coast though.

I feel like they may be more valuable as is in their completely untouched condition. They're pretty darn nice when they're so new like that.

Seems like its slim pickings here in CT also kurdlezuit, Just dusted off the microscope after 4 years bought the new 'short list' from coppercoins and have had zero luck in about 10k cents since Friday lol. Keep checking your local banks mine will let me pick what ever bricks I want and inspect them before I walk out the door with them :)

I would order them online from someone who got lucky and has a lot of them.

I suspect it's penny hoarders that are killing me. I still have problems finding a 2014 coin of any kind.
