Never-Owned-A-Morgan-Dollar

I just wanted to have a reasonably nice example of this large silver coin.

After collecting for nearly 40 years finally got one

Very cool. I used to own maybe 50 but sold them all during the silver spike in 2009.

Just curious, if it took you 40 years, just what have you been collecting?
Rest in Peace

@thecoinguy1964

I saw his web site is based around:

Quote:
Roman Provincial coin bearing the image of Diadumenian

Although, if he's anything like us, he probably collects more than that!

Well, being in the UK I would assume British coinage.

Beware - they can become addictive - I started with only one...

I think we all started with just one coin.

I've collected a lot of coins over the years - just not many from the US, nor the UK either really.

I've a lot of Roman denarii and my collection of Diadumenian provincials. My website is mostly dedicated to them

http://www.diadumenian.com/

Some I've since sold off - but I've still got a lot.

Then there is my "Congress of Princes" thaler collection - worth a look

http://www.diadumenian.com/Congress...princes.html

Then my collection of Indian rupees - worth a look too

http://www.diadumenian.com/Congress...0Rupees.html

An my collection of other big silver coins - - have a peek here

http://www.diadumenian.com/Congress...0crowns.html

I've quite a collection of coins of the Czech Republic, and Chinese cash - a few hundred or so

and then quite a few minor coins - a few thousand different ones.

Thanks - Just a standard digital camera - only about 4MP too. I've a daylight type bulb in my desk lamp but all I do is rest my hand on it to steady the camera and snap at the coin lying on a matt white piece of paper. Nothing fancy at all.

Am I the only one that sees hairlines?

Anyway, every collector should have one.

Now you do!
