Hello,
well... this coin from my collection gives me very big doubts about its value, since I found all the possible evaluations on ebay, from a few dollars to one thousand..!

It is a french franc, from 1960, and it is attracted by magnet: it should be ok since the coin was made in nickel, that is naturally attracted by magnet. ...Am I wrong?
Anyway,
i'd only want to know what its value could be, since the possibilities are so many... There are various versions of this coin, at least it seemed so to me.
Could anyone help me to have a precise idea about it...?
Thank You so much in advance!

Fairly common low value coin. I have one of these, and two half francs, which came in a large and small letter variety (I have both).

The expensive variety has a large zero after the 6 in "1960". Yours, sadly, is the small kind.

Having read this I thought it was attracted, but evidently I was wrong, thanks.

I'm afraid you are not correct. Pure nickel is attracted to a magnet. These French franc coins are made of pure nickel, and will indeed stick to a magnet.
