That's strange... it's a 67 but there is what looks like a 6 lower and to the left of the 7?

I can see the entire 7 even on my phone. I think what you're seeing Cascade (I see it too) is part of the corrosion pattern.

1876. Great picture for this. I think it is interesting that a picture can really show what you have right in from of you. That said, I need to improve my photography skills.

I see 67, but its environmental damage. Therefor I would bust out the Ferric Chloride and find out for sure.

I wouldn't since you can see the date and people know that using acid on a nickel leaves a big stain and the date wears off after time.
