Nope. Just a counterstamp. These were common on large cents back then.

I have never seen a love token like that. Looks more like a counterstamped coin to me?

No it is simply counterstamped. Sometimes it was just someone's initials, sometimes merchants did this as advertisements. There is an entire niche of collectors who specialize in counterstamped coins.

Couldn't call it a "Love Token" but those letters are carved, not stamped. They're not incuse.
