999fine Pillar of the Community United States 1346 Posts	Posted 03/22/2015 3:42 pm OK, I'm new here and don't have a macro camera so am trying my scanner. I've read with great interest so many posts here. I primarily collect my birth year, 1946, worldwide. I gave a look at my one Canadian cent with a glass and found pronounced doubling beneath CANADA and the leaves. Thought I would give it a try here. If the quality isn't to standards, let me know. It's a cheap scanner/printer with no ability to prescan, then crop and scan. 600 dpi is my highest rez. I was surprised to see how clear it was under a 10x.
