It is time for spring cleaning. Over time I have collected several coins that I have not been able to positively identify. I've gathered up most all of them and taken pictures and weighted them. I am hoping the some members of the family will be able to id them, or at least point me in a positive direction.

Some of these coins I have had for years. I have tried to do research on them and have scoured the web and what catalogs I have been able to get a hold of. That means either I can't read the language or recognize enough of the design to see a match.

Most of them are probably of Eastern origin. The first one I think is Austrian, but must be medieval because it is not in any of my catalogs. I have read that there were uniface pfennigs.

European Origin:

Spring-Cleaning-Unidentified-Coins.
Weight: 0.37 grams
Uniface design. Possible Pfennig. Not in catalog so probably older than 1500.

Coins of probably Indian origin:

Spring-Cleaning-Unidentified-Coins.
Weight: 9.85 grams
Composition: Copper
Heavy coin and very thick.

Spring-Cleaning-Unidentified-Coins.
Weight: 2.28 grams
Obv: Deer jumping right.
Rev: Geometric design with script.
Probably Southern Indian.

Unknown Origin:

Spring-Cleaning-Unidentified-Coins.
Weight: 1.45 grams
Composition: Copper
Obv: Bird (maybe peacock or roster left)
Rev: Writing, Arabic?

Spring-Cleaning-Unidentified-Coins.
Weight: 4.25 grams
Composition: Copper
Uniface geometric design. Cup shaped with design on inside of cup.

Spring-Cleaning-Unidentified-Coins.
Weight: 1.45 grams
Composition: Copper
Geometric design, looks uniface but may not have originally been.
Probably Indian.

Spring-Cleaning-Unidentified-Coins.
Weight: 1.58 grams
Geometric design with wavy lines, possibly uniface.

Spring-Cleaning-Unidentified-Coins.
Weight: 0.79 grams
Uniface Geometric design with straight lines.

3 is a Kasu from Madras KM#A163
4 I would guess Afghan
and 5 might just be the remnants of a Mamluk Fals.

#1 looks like an Austrian Halbling from the reign of Ottokar II (1251-1276). The source I have says that the design is "Crowned dragon right, looking backwards,
tail curled." The picture you have is upside down. The designs for this series were fairly crude, so this is just my best guess.

I suspect that auto-correct got andyg because the KM number is right if it is Mysore and not Madras.

DKA-Numis, it could be. I checked the flip that came with the coin and I believe it could say Vienna in cursive hand writing. That would mean I was wrong about it being uniface, but I now think I can see bits of a design around 1 and 3 o'clock that could be ends of the lillies.

Austria
Ottokar II. of Bohemia (1251-1276)
Hälbling (Silver)
Mint city: Vienna
Obv: Crowned dragon right, looking backwards, tail curled.
Rev: Shield in circle of lillies.
Weight: 0.55g

sorry, indeed Mysore not Madras.
As for 6-8 being from Mysore too - 6 is possible - 7 and 8 very unlikely IMO.

andyg: I think you may be right about number 4 being from Afghanistan. I'm seeing things labeled as "Civic Coinage" that has a peacock on it.

Two here:

Nothing is a match but at least I am find a similar motif.
