I just bought a lot of 4 BU Washington quarters1958 P +D, 1954S, and 1951P. I weighed all 4. They were 6.36,6.22, 6.15, and 6.08 grams. Is this within normal variation? It was very inexpensive 17.50 for all, almost melt price.

The tolerance for a silver Washington quarter is +/-0.195 grams(3 grains) so all of your coins would be within tolerance.
